Film poster analysis

A movie poster of two people

Description automatically generatedI think the story might be about robots and science the man created the girl robot and something destructive might happen. They might be escaping or running.

GENRES: sci-fi, science, adventure, action because they might be fighting and the robots and technology might show that it is science fiction.

I think the target audience is for teenagers or anyone above 12 because it be inappropriate for youngers mainly boys may be interested in this.

KEYWORDS: Narrative, Hybrid, Demographic

A movie poster with a group of people

Description automatically generatedI think for this movie the story line would be a group of teenagers investigating something because their facial expression show that they are curious, and it might be scary or the place their stay at may be possessed.

GENRES: comedy, horror I think there is also comedy because of the people and how they are in the front cover and horror as they seem scared and the word scary is in the movie name.

I think the target audience are mainly focused on teenagers as the people acting seem like they are teenagers and maybe they can relate or older. Think boys and girls can both watch this movie.

KEYWORDS: lifestyles, characteristics, lighting, colour

A movie poster of a group of people holding guns

Description automatically generated

I think the story line for this movie is about investigating something some sort of crime or unsolved mystery. They seem like a group of people who are curious about something that happened in the past or looking for revenge/ retaliation.

GENRES: crime, mystery because of the dark setting and looks like there might be shooting or action because they are holding weapons so there might be some sort of violence.

I think the target audience is for people older so they can understand the story better and maybe relate it what’s about to happen. I think this is age appropriate so it might be 15 rated and over.

KEYWORDS: gothic, dull, residential, narrative

I think this film may be about a woman who is marrying the love of her life but when her family meets him they dont approve of him. Throughout the film they try endless things to make them like him so they can have everyone there when they are married. I think this film belongs to romance and comedy genre due to the title being bride. Also the man in the poster is laughing which could mean that the film isnt completely serious and has some comedy towards it. I think the target audience is mainly women as they typically enjoy romantic films more than men do so they are more likely to watch this.

I think this film may be about a woman who was born into a normal life with a normal family. One day when shes all grown up all these people start looking for her as she turns out to have been kidnapped when she was a baby from an extremely wealthy family.  I think that the genre of this film belongs to thriller and action due to the dark lighting. The people in the background create a suspenseful tone for the film making us wonder who they may be to the woman.
I think that the target audience would be teenagers and adults. I think its also targeted towards both genders because the woman seems to be the main character as shes placed in the middle and men typically show an interest in action films.
I think that this film may be about a man who has lived in a city for his whole life. Everything in the city was good until a few years ago the city started to lose money making it not a safe and dangerous place to live. The man in the photo is looking over at the city thinking about how nice it used to be to live there.I think that the genre of this film may be suspense as we cant really tell what is going on from the poster so it may be like that in the actual film. I think the target audience of this film may be more towards adults because of the colouring of the poster. Since its so dark it might not be so appealing to younger people so they wouldn't watch this.

I think that this film may be about a boy who found a deep hole far back in a forest whilst getting lost on the way home after he moved to a new city. Whilst looking in the hole, he hears a voice calling out to him threatening him if he doesn't do what they say but he doesn't give into the voice.
I think the genre the film belongs to is suspense because we cant tell from the boys surroundings where he is. Also, the title is very vague which doesn't allow us to guess what the film may be about before we even watch it.  I think that the target audience may be towards teenagers and adults due to there being a young boy in the poster and from what we think the genre of the film may be about.

I think this film may be about a group of pirates who discover a chest that doesn't belong to them. They end up keeping the chest which causes trouble for them as the chest belongs to someone important.
I think the genre the film belongs to is thriller and action because pirates are known to cause trouble so we can guess that the film is going to be chaotic with lots of action going on.
I think that the target audience would be mainly teenagers. This is because although the film has to do with pirates which may seem childish, the colours and the facial expressions of the characters make it seem like the film may bee more intense which wouldn't be suitable for younger kids.
